Vaulting the Ceiling, Part II — Construction

Vaulting our ceiling means removing the attic and almost all our roof’s supports, then constructing new beefy structures composed of concrete, enormous wood beams, and an incredible quantity of nails. All done by 3 guys. No big deal, right?
